Portmellon Cove Guest House is a five diamond graded, award winning luxury, licensed, no smoking accommodation overlooking the peaceful sandy beach of Portmellon located between Mevagissey and Gorran Haven on the Cornish Riviera – the south coast of Cornwall.
Family run with pride and dedication, the proprietors, Sarah and Roy, aim to ensure your stay is a happy and memorable one. We provide all the facilities that you would expect from a luxury bed & breakfast and also offer competitively priced Garden and Golfing Breaks for the enthusiast to suit their individual needs.
We also offer an Itinerary for your holiday with computer assisted information and route plans to help you find those special places. Portmellon Cove Guest House is situated in an extremely peaceful location and is the perfect base from which to visit the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
After a busy day you can relax in your comfortable room with a drink, wander round the garden or enjoy a quiet walk along the coastal footpath with its spectacular views, towards Chapel Point and Gorran Haven. A full, traditional, English breakfast along with weekly speciality breakfasts are served in the dining room, which also boasts wonderful sea and coastal views.
Portmellon Beach and its local pub is just a 2-minute walk away.We are always pleased to make your stay EXTRA special by providing Champagne, chocolates, flowers and/or fruit on arrival. We can also arrange garden or theatre tickets, restaurant reservations and can provide home-made cream teas, high tea or packed lunches to suit your requirements.
Accommodation
Eden – we are particularly proud of Eden - our master bedroom with its beautifully dressed, king sized four-poster bed. From the patio doors you will be tempted into the garden where you can relax in the peace and tranquility while gazing at the sea and coastline, and maybe, enjoy a glass of something from your mini bar. A large en-suite with luxury corner bath, separate shower and bidet are adjacent to the well fitted dressing area and complete this delightful suite which is sure to make any holiday extra special.
Heligan – enter thisthrough the dressing area which has a mini bar and beverage making facilities. This bright and airy room is furnished with a well-dressed comfortable king sized double bed and has delightful sea and coastal views from the windows. Enter the garden via your private door and relax on the sun deck whilst enjoying the sea views. This room is complemented by a well-equipped en-suite complete with bath and shower over.
Lanhydrock – this is a cosy, extremely comfortable super king sized bed or twin bedded room tastefully decorated to a high standard throughout. Relax on the bed with a drink from the well-stocked mini bar and enjoy the beautiful garden and coastal views of Portmellon Cove and beyond. Your private door takes you into the garden where you can relax on the sun deck.
