General Information
Au cœur de la vieille ville de Genève, quatre bâtiments du 13ème et 16ème siècle ont été transformés en un hôtel de luxe. Ces bâtiments adossés à l’ancienne enceinte de la ville ont appartenus successivement aux évêques de Genève et à la famille "Chouet de la Rive", qui ont consolidé la structure au 17ème siècle.
"Les armures" est le café le plus ancien de Genève, attraction touristique et étape obligatoire pour les visiteurs de la Cité de Calvin. Le restaurant sert des plats de cuisine française classique, tandis que la cave "Le Carnotzet" offre de nombreuses spécialités de fromages comme la fondue et la raclette.
"Les armures" attire de nombreuses personnalités étrangères, avides de découvrir le cœur de cette ville internationale. Parmi ses hôtes importants, "Les Armures" a vu comme clients les présidents John F. Kennedy, Jimmy Carter et Bill Clinton.
