Area information
The hotel is located near the business area of Azca, one of the most important ones in the city. Nuevos Ministerios, with its shops, is only a 15 minute walk away. In the area there is also a train, bus and metro station with direct connection to the airport (you can also check in at the station)
The street where the hotel is located goes all the way down to Paseo de la Castellana, which crosses Madrid North to South in a few minutes. You can also easily reach the Atocha station and the Real Madrid Football Stadium. Good access to the A2 highway, which provides access to both the airport and the fair grounds Juan Carlos I.
Travel information
From the airport:
- Metro: take line 8 until “Nuevos Ministerios” (4 stops), then change to line 10, get off in “Gregorio Marañón” (1 stop), change to line 7 and get off in “Alonso Cano” (1 stop)
- Taxi: approx. EUR 20.
From the hotel to the city center:
- Metro: walk up the hotel’s street around 100 m. until the street called Santa Engracia. Turn right. Take the metro at “Rios Rosas” line 1 until Sol (5 stops)
- Bus: walk down the hotel’s street around 100 m. until the street called Modesto Lafuente, turn right into José Abascal and take bus line 5 till the end stop (Sol)
By car:
- Entering Madrid through the A-2 (Barcelona) you will get to Avda. de América. Continue straight along the same stret (which changes its name to María de Molina) until Paseo de la Castellana (Plaza Gregorio Marañón). Turn right, direction north and drive to the left lane. Contunue 200m. until the next plaza and turn left into calle Rios Rosas. Continue straight for about 200m. until the crossing with Modesto Lafuente. Continue until Bretón de los Herreros (2 blocks). The hotel is in number 29 (200 m)
- Entering Madrid through the A6 (La Coruña), drive along the left lane which will take you to Cea Bermudez. Continue straight for about 2 km. (the street changes its name to José Abascal) until the crossing with Alonso Cano, then turn left until Bretón de los Herreros and you will see the hotel.
