Idyllically set on the shores of a sheltered lagoon, The Sunset Resort has 35 spacious self-catering studio's and suites situated either on the beachfront overlooking the lagoon, beside the shimmering pool or amid the lush tropical gardens. This personally managed Resort has an intimate atmosphere that will make you feel welcome and allow you to experience the true magic of Rarotonga.
The secluded beachfront location of the Resort on the sheltered western side of the Island provides guests with an unspoilt view of Rarotonga's exotic sunsets. Only 8 minutes drive from the main town of Avarua and just minutes from the Golf Course, the Resort is ideally located for convenience and privacy. Dine at our new Sunset Bistro restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner or visit the many other fine restaurants on Rarotonga For self-catering, each suite features a fully equipped designer kitchen with microwave oven and fridge/freezer and full bar and Tropical Island breakfast services are provided on site. For more relaxed outdoor dining join us for the Sunday Sunset BBQ.
