General Information
Kia Orana from the Cook Islands! We'd be pleased to have you stay with us when you come to Rarotonga. Tiare Village is 3km from Avarua Township situated on the north side of the island. Rarotonga is 32km circular.
As you may know we have a range of accommodation available from self-contained Poolside Units, to self-contained A-Frame Chalets which contain a singleroom and 2 double/twin rooms, to shared "dorm" beds in the main house, or our remodelled "Bus"which is a "real novelty" this is also is self contained with 2 single rooms and a twin room.
The MAINHOUSE has a fully equipped kitchen, large balcony with BBQ facilities, tv/video/dvd Internet facility in the lounge, information board, library, and two shared bathrooms. There are two, three bed shared rooms in the main house and one room that sleeps four . The nightly rate here is NZ$20.00 p.p.
Alternatively you can opt to stay in one of our CHALETS. Each Chalet is self contained with kitchen, lounge/dining area, private verandah, toilet and hot shower. Each Chalet sleeps five people in two double/twin rooms upstairs and one single room downstairs. The nightly rate here is NZ$22.00 p.p. in a double/twin room and NZ$25.00 in a
single. Facilities are shared in the chalets.
Our remodelled self contained BUS has a twin room NZ$22.00 pp per night and 2 single rooms which is NZ$25.00 each per night.
Our POOLSIDE UNITS are self contained with ensuite (hot shower and toilet) and kitchen facilities. These sleep two or three people. The nightly rate is NZ$70.00 per night as a double or single. If you wish to have a 3rd person in your unit please add another NZ$20.00 per night total payment therefore will be NZ$90.00 per night.
All guests at Tiare Village have the use of available facilities from the swimming pool to BBQ/umu areas, laundry and mainhouse facilities.
International Airport Transfers: Please note that your first pick up (which is when you first arrive to Rarotonga) is a complementary service to Tiare Village. All other domestic and return transfers are NZ$6.50 per person. Please note Immigration policy requires you to have accommodation arrangement prior to your arrival. All you need do is fill in Tiare Village on your immigration form.
As you exit the arrival area turn to your left and look for the Tiare Village sign. I or my driver will be there to meet you. After you have rested and or breakfasted, we will arrange to take you on a tour through the main town to show you the whereabouts of grocery stores, car/bike rentals, banks, the market place to better assist you make the most of your stay
here.
Let me know what type of accommodation you would prefer. We need confirmation of your booking as well as details of your incoming flight. i.e. From what country you are coming from, flight number, expected time of arrival in Rarotonga. These details are important to be sure we are at the correct flight to meet you. Also how long you would like to stay with us.
Please consider the dateline when advising your arrival date. Once I have recieved this information I will return confirmation.
Please note that most stores and the town are closed on Sunday so groceries need to be purchased to cater for this time. Tiare Village is a very popular outlet and are proud of our reputation of being friendly and accommodating.
Tiare Village are Agents for "Budget Rentals" we have motorbikes and Mountain bikes for hire on the premises.
