We have it all at Kura's Kabanas - located right in the heart of Muri Beach overlooking beautiful Muri lagoon and with a magnificent view of the little islets, Kura's Kabanas is the perfect place for those seeking that romantic holiday in paradise.
We offer 4 very comfortable kabanas (bungalows) which front the white sands of Muri Beach and 3 family studio units with top floor view of the lagoon, all of which are fully equipped for self-catering.
Situated on the inland road is the Hideaway Cottage which we call the Luv Nest. With it's spacious deck for relaxed outdoor living, surrounded by 400 m2 of gardens, this provides the perfect hideaway for those who seek a more peaceful surrounding amongst tropical lush vegetation and escape the demands of modern life.
Details of our room categories are as follows:
Kabanas - The kabanas are only a few metres from the sand and have a beautiful view of the motus, each contains 1 Queen-size bed (only some units are convertible to twins), caters for 2 adults and is fully self-contained with modern cooking facilities, TV, telephone, etc.
Family Studio Units - an open studio plan, magnificent view of the lagoon, each contains 1 Queen-size bed/2 single beds, caters for a family of 4 being 2 adults and 2 children – fully self-contained with modern cooking facilities, TV, telephone, etc.
Hideaway Cottage (The Luv Nest) - situated in a secluded location on the hillside and contains 1 Queen-size bed. It has spacious decking for outdoor relaxation and caters for 2 adults only. It is fully self-contained with modern cooking facilities, TV, telephone, etc.he Luv Nest Hideaway Cottage is situated in a secluded location on the hillside, contains 1 Queen-size bed and caters for 2 adults only.
All units are fully self-contained with gas cooker and grill, cutlery, crockery, toaster, electric jug, blender, coffee maker, TV, direct private telephone line, hairdryer, ample solar-powered hot water (with electric booster if needed).
The tariff covers the following free services as well:
- Coffee, tea, sugar, milk, bottled water, fresh local fruit
- Local calls free of charge
- Laptop connection available (Telecom consent required)
- Daily room service provided except on Sundays
- Kayaks and outrigger canoe for the more adventurous
- DVD player on request for rainy days
- Baby cot, bath and highchair available on request
- Undercover BBQ facilities over the creek
- Security "safe" for all your valuables
We provide complimentary fruit in season for our guests and your hosts Kura and Robin Bullen will be there to greet you with a traditional welcome of fresh flower leis upon arrival at the airport. Our Airport transfers are $10.00 pp each way.
All units have easy access from the main road or beachfront with ample off-street parking. Kura's Kabanas is within close walking distance to the local shopping mart, internet cafe, restaurants and depots for vehicle rentals.
