The Bed & Breakfast Shalom is situated in Condofuri, authorized by the township of Condofuri and the A.P.T. of Reggio Calabria. Shalom is located in the centre of the village only 300 meters from the long sandy beach and offers a mild climate for almost the entire summer season. The Bed & Breakfast Shalom offers a reading and TV room and rooms with air conditioning and en-suite bathroom.The B&B is set in a beautiful location with green mountains on the back and near sunny beaches with a wild climate all the year round. For fishing lovers the area offers many possibilities to practice their favourite sport. In the surroundings guests may visit many interesting places such as the museum of Magna Grecia in Reggio Calabria (30 km), the Pentidattilo castle (5 km), the renowned skiing resort Gambarie (35 km), Locri (70 km), the medieval village of Gerace (85 km) and the grecanica area (fiumara dellAmendoleo, Roghudi, Bova Superiore). In addition it's possible to taste many delicious home-made products such as capocollo, crocette ai fichi (dried figs), pecorino chees, pitta, Calabrian ricotta cheese, soppressata, torrone gelato (nougat), honey, typical biscuits (susamelle e stomatico), dry tomatoes and aubergine in oil and seasonal fruit.
