General Information
Ganz in der Nähe von Tavarnelle Val di Pesa befindet sich die herrschaftliche Villa „Il Paganello“, im XVI Jahrhundert gebaut, auf einem an Olivenbäumen und Weinbergen reichen Hügel. Zur Villa gehört auch eine hübsch verzierte kleine Kirche. Durch ein weites Tor, an dessen Seiten sich zwei grosse Fenster befinden, kommt zu einem schönen Innenhof. Hier sind auch ein Brunnen und Arkaden.
Vom Hof hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf die typisch toskanische Landschaft, und zwar kleine Wälder, Weinberge, Olivenbäume und romanische Kirchen wie San Pietro in Bossolo, San Donato in Poggio oder Abteien wie die von Passignano. Die Villa „Il Paganello“ wird in dem Buch: „ Le ville di Firenze“ von O. Guaita, Newton und Compton Verlag, geschildert.
Seit 1999 kann man in der Villa Il Paganello die Ferien verbringen.
Die Gäste können direkt die Produkte des landwirtschaftlichen Betriebs kaufen, wie z.B. Olivenöl, Wein „Il Paganello“ usw.
Neben der Villa liegt das neue Schwimmbad, ein großer Obstgarten und ein Olivenhain, die ausschließlich für die Gäste der Villa bestimmt sind, ein idealer Ort, um den Urlaub in der Natur zu genießen.
Im westlichen Teil des Gebäudes, wo sich auch ein kleinerer Hof befindet, sind vier grosse Ferienwohnungen ausgestattet worden, mit Heizung, zwei davon mit Kamin. Die Wohnungen sind vom restlichen Teil der Villa unabhängig, damit sich unsere Gäste und ihre Freunde wohl fühlen und ungestört angenehme Ferien verbringen können.
