General Information
On the site of Gefosse castle, l'HERMEREL stands up, proud, surrounded by its pastures. You’ll enjoy to discover this charming place with its superb little gothic chapel ( XVth century) and the circular dovecote, representing privilege in days old, with hundreds of former pigeon niches. L’ Hermerel is also an authenthic fortified working dairy farm. Our guest’s children are so happy to meet cows and calves.
The four confortable rooms are in the independent wing of the manor house. Each one has its own personality and original charm. Two of them are special for families. More photos on our website.
Breakfast is served in our dinning room, reminiscent of days gone by, with its walk-in stone fireplace and hanging copper kettle, heavy beamed ceiling and old farm furniture. You’ll enjoy to taste French “baguette” with a large choice of different breds, homemade cake, fruit juice, homemade jams, famous butter of Isigny, cereals, cheese and beverage of your choice.
Our prices are in Euros and quoted per room not per person. The rate includes breakfasts.
Family/double/twin room for 2 sharing: 60€ per night.
For extra bed : 20€.
For single occupancy :50€

We are located ih the heart of Normandy, along the DDay Beaches.
To find us from Paris: Take the highway A13 direction CAEN ROUEN
Then N 13 ,after Caen, direction CHERBOURG
Leave N 13 at OSMANVILLE, cross the village and take D 514, towards GRANDCAMP - MAISY and drive 4 km
Turn left onto D 199A direction GEFOSSE - FONTENAY
Follow the signs L' HERMEREL, , it's the second driveway on the right.
