Pertengo - Vercelli in Piemonte
Pertengo ist ein kleiner traditioneller Reisbauort. Sein Name, der soviel wie „proprietà di Pert“, also „Besitz von Pert“ bedeuten muss, verrät den langobardischen Ursprung dieses Ortes. Die ziemlich alte Pfarrkirche „Parrocchiale di San Germano d’Auxerre“ wurde 1680 im Barockstil umgebaut und im 19. Jahrhundert mehrmals mit einem neoklassizistischen Überbau restauriert. Die Dekorationen stammen von Gianolo aus Vercelli; im Bogen der Säulenvorhalle kann man ein Bildnis von „San Germano“ bewundern, das vom Maler Rinone stammt.
Im Innenraum kann man die Altartafel aus Holz und die Überreste der antiken Kanzel bewundern.
