Mollia, das Zentrum - Vercelli in Piemonte
Mollia befindet sich auf einer Höhe von 880 m, an der Stelle, an der das Tal sich verengt. Das Dorf besteht aus mehreren kleinen Häuseransammlungen, die alle, außer Otra Sesia, am Berghang links vom Fluss auf Grasterrassen liegen. Das Zentrum bildet die „Piazza della chiesa“, auf welche auch das Rathaus und die Schulen blicken. Die nach San Giovanni Battista benannte Kirche wurde 1657 errichtet und 1722 zur Pfarrkirche ernannt. Daneben befindet sich ein Laubengang mit den vierzehn Stationen des Kreuzwegs, 1744 gemalt als Fresken von Lorenzo Peracino aus dem Valsesia.
