Wanderweg, CAI – Italienischer Alpenclub - Vercelli in Piemonte
Zuerst folgt man der Route Nr.1 zur Berghütte Pastore. Nachdem man in der Ortschaft Acqua Bianca (1497m) in den Saumpfad eingebogen ist nimmt man linkerhand den Pfad Nr.7a in Richtung Collo del Turlo. Die Straße ist sehr angenehm, leicht und breit. Auf dem Weg trifft man auf hochstämmige Bäume, im besonderen auf Lärchen. Die Strecke ist für alle geeignet, da es sich um einen einfachen Weg handelt und es viele Streckenabschnitte mit schöner Aussicht von der Alpe Pile und dem Borstal zu bewundern gibt. Kurz vor der Alpe Faller biegt ein Weg nach links zur Alpe Testanera (ca. 45 Minuten Wanderstrecke – 2260m) ab und wenn man möchte, kann man dann zur Berghütte Barba Ferrero (2230m) bei der Alpe Vigne weitergehen.
Bei der Alpe Faller (1984m), die man in ca. 1 Stunde von Acqua Bianca aus erreicht, wurden die antiken Berghütten der Schäfer wieder in Ordnung gebracht und restauriert. Das darunterliegende Tal und die Ruhe dort sind jede Anstrengung wert.
Die Strecke wird schwerer, wenn man mit der Wanderung fortfährt, um nach etwa 2 weiteren Stunden den Collo del Turlo (2738m).
